Audio Housing announces Compact 88 studio desk

We are very excited to introduce our latest desk, the Compact 88. It is much wider, 5 cm deeper and has been designed to accommodate large keyboards, synthesizers and digital stage pianos up to 140 cm wide and 16 cm high (55.2" / 6.3"). It offers the same flexibility and different levels of workspace as our Compact One, full of functions and inspired by midcentury modern design.

Monitors

The top shelf is set to an ideal height of 92cm for speakers to give the correct listening experience. With a 25cm depth it can host a range of near field monitors as well as wide computer screens and other equipment.

Desktop

The upper pull out tray is your main work surface. Set on a height of 80 cm it is slightly higher than a regular desk. The 35 cm deep tray easily fits a laptop or computer keyboard, in addition to your own choice of audio interfaces, controllers and expanders.

Keyboard

The lower pull out tray has been designed to accommodate a wide range of 8 octave keyboards, large synthesizers and digital stage pianos. Measuring 140 by 40 cm and loading up to 35 kg it extracts 100% and fits eg. a NI Kontrol S88.

Extra height

The upper pull out tray can be raised or lowered depending on the height of the equipment you want to store underneath. With the pre-drilled holes you can adjust the desktop to 80 or 83 cm allowing the use of keyboards and equipment as high as 16 cm.
