Summing Boxes vs. Studer 169

Hello,

I have the opportunity to acquire a Studer 169.

For the same price I could get a Neve Orbit, SPL Mixdream, Dangerous etc

I am bit clueless about going vintage or modern in terms of summing.

How does it sound compared to the modern alternatives? Is it great for summing etc. Any Studer users here?
