Kush unleashes AR-1 vintage mµ compressor

UBK and Kush Audio present the AR-1 vintage variable-mµ tube compressor plugin. The original hardware’s roots range from the raucous 50’s to its use at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in the late 60’s, on the later Beatles and earlier Pink Floyd records. The AR-1 plugin enhances the functionality of the hardware as only a plugin can. For starters, you can see the actual values of the controls. The release is fully variable as opposed to stepped, although you can click directly on Releases #1-4 to emulate the legendary Beatles timings of the original analog. The Kush Audio AR-1 is available now for $99. It requires macOS 10.9 or later and an AU, VST, or AAX plugin host. This is the first of their plugins that does not require an iLok USB dongle.
