Audiority spools up PlexiTape vintage solid state tape echo
Tuesday June 25, 2019. 05:01 AM , from MacOSX Audio
Audiority has released PlexiTape, a faithful analog modeled simulation of an iconic tape echo that made THE sound of the 1970s. Special care went into modeling this unit in every aspect: motor, tape, FET preamplifier, heads and even the infamous “Sound On Sound”, which allows you to use bypass the echo and use the tape as a looping recorder. Audiority also added new features including a full stereo double delay line, tempo sync, and more.
Audiority PlexiTape is available now for $65, with an introductory price of $29 until July 31. It requires macOS 10.8 and an AU, VST, or AAX plugin host.
