The passive filter section of the PQ2 is based on the Pultec EQP1, but i is not a clone as much as a development of the circuit.

The active gainstage is an SRPP vacuum tube design, which pairs perfectly with the character of the filter.

In addition to that, all controls are on switches, not pots, and the channels are matched, so you can match the stereo settings perfectly, and make recalls.
