High-end AXR4 audio interface announced

It's time for the NAMM show in LA again, and we're unveiling our exceptional, new AXR4 Thunderbolt 2 audio interface. While we're extremely proud to be able to present this studio-grade interface at NAMM, we're sure you'll enjoy its advantages as soon as it's available. The expected availability through Steinberg resellers and the Steinberg Online Shop is in the first quarter of 2019, but this will be for macOS systems only. Windows drivers are expected for Q2.Technically, the AXR4 has four Neutrik combo inputs, two individual headphone outputs, eight TRS line inputs, eight TRS outputs and two ADAT I/O pairs that function as S/PDIF, the second of which offers an alternative AES/EBU D-sub connector. Word clock and the new SSPLL jitter-reduction technology are also on board. The excellent sound is due to its 32-bit integer resolution, a maximum sampling rate of 384 kHz and four studio-quality hybrid microphone preamps (with RND Silk emulation). And Yamaha DSP effects, like the VCM Compressor 276, the VCM EQ601, the Sweet Spot Morphing Channel Strip, and the REV-X reverb provide first-class effects for monitoring.
