Synth pioneer Alan R Pearlman, creator of legendary instruments like the ARP 2500 and ARP 2600, died on January 6 after a long illness.He was 93.An electronics engineer who once worked for NASA on the Gemini and Apollo projects of the 1960s, Pearlman founded ARP Instruments in 1969.
