Today we are proud to release the first version of stacktune: a smart way to organize, share and collaborate on audio files

Stacktune

Stacktune makes it easy to keep track of audio files that exist in multiple versions, like different mixes or arrangements. Do you record your rehearsals? You will love stacktune.

Just upload your files to a stacktune project and invite everyone who should have access. You will not only no longer have to send out emails about new files, you can also keep all your feedback and notes in the same place. And in case you would like to check your mixes somewhere else, stacktune works perfectly on your smartphone. Just take your files with you wherever you go.

Stacktune has been in use by a limited number of people for many months now and has proven to greatly improve the way we share audio files. We mostly call it beta, because there are so many great features we haven't been able to add for now.

We take privacy and security seriously. Everything you upload is private and can only be accessed by you until you invite someone. Currently each user requires an account, which eliminates the need to send out public links to your songs through potentially unsecure email servers and connections. However, we will offer less secure ways to share soon, in case you would like to do so.
