Weight Tank introduces the WT-72 Preamp

Locomotive Audio is excited to announce a V72 style tube preamp to its sub-brand, Weight Tank. This ultra-affordable unit is inspired by the original circuit of the German console preamps, showcasing the rich, mid-forward tone we all have come to love!

Offering 56 dB of gain, the WT-72 can be driven by a microphone or line level source, as well as a DI on the front panel. High quality American-made mu-metal shielded input transformers, output transformers and output plate choke all lend themselves to the WT-72s sonic signature.

A limited quantity of North American units will be available in early 2019 at a price so hard to beat; $599 in North America and $699 elsewhere! Units purchased after the preorder is over will be priced at $799 globally.
