Apple rolls out server-side fix for Apple Intelligence bug affecting iPhone 17 and iPhone Air
Aaron Perris reports that Apple has implemented a server-side fix for iPhone 17 and iPhone Air models that couldn’t download Apple Intelligence models. This update addresses issues faced by some iPhone 17 users who were unable to access Apple Intelligence features since the devices launched nearly three weeks ago.
Chance Miller for 9to5Mac:

If you were affected by this problem, there’s nothing you need to do. The update should automatically download in the background. You can check the status of Apple Intelligence on your iPhone by going to the Settings app and navigating to the Apple Intelligence menu.
Apple hasn’t shed any additional light on what the problem here actually was. It’s certainly perplexing that iPhone 17 users couldn’t access the entire suite of Apple Intelligence features, and it took Apple so long to roll out a fix. Nonetheless, at least that fix has finally arrived.

MacDailyNews Take: Affected iPhone 17 and iPhone Air users, rejoice!
