Apple previews new immersive films for Apple Vision Pro
Tour De Force from CANAL+ and MotoGP is now available for free on the Apple TV app for Apple Vision Pro.
Apple this week previewed a slate of new films in Apple Immersive from top global publishers, broadcasters, studios, and brands, including the Audi F1 Project, the BBC, CANAL+, CNN, HYBE, MotoGP, and Red Bull. The new films will launch exclusively alongside new episodes of returning Apple Immersive series for Apple Vision Pro in the coming months. These new films are among the first to be captured with Blackmagic Design’s URSA Cine Immersive camera and edited on Mac using DaVinci Resolve Studio. The first film, Tour De Force from CANAL+ and MotoGP, is now available on the Apple TV app, and an extended preview will be available at select Apple Store locations next month.
“Apple Immersive Video has redefined what’s possible in storytelling, placing audiences inside each moment with a remarkable sense of presence,” said Bob Borchers, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing, in a statement. “Apple Vision Pro users can enjoy storytelling in ways that just aren’t possible otherwise, and we can’t wait for them to enjoy the first projects from some of the world’s most innovative filmmakers.”
“Apple Immersive Video is one of the most exciting storytelling formats we’ve ever seen, and we’re proud that Blackmagic tools are helping bring it to life,” said Grant Petty, Blackmagic Design’s CEO, in a statement. “With the URSA Cine Immersive camera and DaVinci Resolve Studio, filmmakers can capture the world in incredible detail and realism, and then edit, grade, mix, and deliver their vision to audiences in exciting new ways. This really is the beginning of a whole new era for filmmaking.”
Tour De Force from CANAL+ and MotoGP
Fans will enjoy a new immersive documentary that follows MotoGP rider Johann Zarco through his dramatic victory in the rain during the French Grand Prix at Le Mans in May, ending the 71-year wait for a home victory in front of more than 300,000 fans. To make the viewing experience feel as intimate and lifelike as being there in person, CANAL+ used four URSA Cine Immersive cameras affixed to a mix of pedestals and Steadicams, which were paired with ambisonic microphones to capture Apple Spatial Audio. A mobile production workstation with Mac Studio (M3 Max), Pro Display XDR, and Apple Vision Pro was set up trackside to review footage instantly and ensure accurate framing in context, while a post-production team in Paris used the same setup for editing, color grading, and audio mixing with DaVinci Resolve Studio.
World of Red Bull
World of Red Bull is a new series of immersive experiences for Apple Vision Pro that bring Red Bull’s signature energy and storytelling to this groundbreaking format. In the debut episode, “Backcountry Skiing,” audiences are transported into the wilderness of Revelstoke, British Columbia, where the world’s top freeskiers push their limits on remote, untouched slopes. Blending breathtaking action with intimate athlete moments, the episode captures both the intensity and beauty of backcountry freeskiing, while showcasing the passion, preparation, and dedication it takes to reach the peak. In the next episode, “Big-Wave Surfing,” viewers will feel the power of the ocean like never before as elite surfers attempt to ride the barrel of the heaviest wave in the world off the remote coast of Teahupoʻo, Tahiti. “Backcountry Skiing” will be available this December, and “Big-Wave Surfing” will be released in 2026.
The first episode of World of Red Bull, “Backcountry Skiing,” will be available for free on the Apple TV app in December.
A Night at the BBC Proms
This fall, classical music fans can enjoy BBC Proms, the world’s greatest classical music festival, like never before. Pianist Lukas Sternath makes his BBC Proms debut performing Edvard Grieg’s Piano Concerto in A minor with the BBC Symphony Orchestra and their chief conductor, Sakari Oramo. With this special experience — the first classical music concert available in Apple Immersive — viewers will enjoy the performance inches from the pianist’s hands, while being surrounded by the power of the orchestra in Spatial Audio, and enveloped by the historic architecture of one of the world’s most iconic music venues, the Royal Albert Hall.

Journey to Antarctica to Find Emperor Penguins with CNN
CNN’s chief climate correspondent, Bill Weir, joins a scientific expedition to Antarctica, bringing audiences into unbelievable proximity with emperor penguins emerging from winter with newborn chicks on Snow Hill Island. He’ll discuss the impact a warming climate and receding sea ice are having on penguin populations with the researchers that know them best, and talk about the challenges of conducting vital work like this at one of the hardest-to-reach places on Earth.
Journey to Antarctica to Find Emperor Penguins featuring CNN’s Bill Weir will be available on Apple Vision Pro in spring 2026.
Julaymba from PHORIA
Apple Vision Pro users can step into the heart of the world’s oldest rainforest with Julaymba, an award-winning immersive documentary launching this October. In the lush Daintree Rainforest of North Tropical Queensland, Australia, viewers will journey with the Eastern Kuku Yalanji people — the Indigenous Traditional Custodians of the region — where an Elder welcomes them through stories, ceremony, and a profound connection to country. Alive with waterfalls, glowing fungi, and the calls of cassowaries, this UNESCO World Heritage Site will completely immerse viewers, offering an intimate encounter with culture and nature.
