Justin Theroux to play Steve Wynn in Siegfried and Roy series ‘Wild Things’ at Apple TV+

Justin Theroux has joined the cast of the upcoming Apple TV+ series “Wild Things,” which tells the story of magicians Siegfried & Roy.
Over the course of nearly half a century, Siegfried & Roy performed 30,000 shows for millions of people. Although the German-born illusionists and pop culture icons were mega-famous, much about their private lives, eccentric public personae, and tragic final show remained shrouded in mystery … until now. Emmy Award-winning filmmaker and journalist Steven Leckart goes behind the velvet curtain to reveal shocking moments, surprising details and hidden truths about two men who were lionized by millions of fans, lampooned by the media, criticized by animal welfare advocates, and endlessly scrutinized by the public.

The eight-episode series is based on the Apple Original Podcast, “Wild Things: Siegfried & Roy.” Theroux will appear alongside previously announced leads Jude Law and Andrew Garfield, who will play Siegfried and Roy respectively. Theroux will play Steve Wynn, the Las Vegas hotel magnate who brought Siegfried and Roy to The Mirage on the Strip.
Theroux previously starred in the Apple TV+ series “The Mosquito Coast,” which aired for two seasons. His other recent TV credits include “Running Point” at Netflix and “White House Plumbers” at HBO. Theroux is known for his starring roles in shows like “The Leftovers” and for films like “Mulholland Drive,” “American Psycho,” and “The Girl on the Train.”
