Popular case maker dbrand offers up the clearest look at the iPhone 17 lineup yet
Friday September 5, 2025. 10:53 PM , from Macworld UK
![]() If a full weekend is too long to wait, you can get a good look at the new iPhone 17 rear design thanks to a series of renders by popular case maker dbrand. Granted, these images are almost certainly generated from rumors and leaks, but dbrand is confident enough to put them on its website and begin selling cases and grips based on the design. The irreverent company event put a cheeky, “Sorry, Tim,” on its homepage. Screenshot Foundry There’s nothing new or particularly noteworthy about the images, but they give a clear look at what the new iPhones are expected to look like, from the iPhone 17 Air’s camera bar to the iPhone 17 Pro’s unibody aluminum design. The images are all presented in a black colorway and illustrate several expected design changes, including the larger camera array, MagSafe cutout, and repositioned Apple logo on the iPhone 17 Pro. As rumored, the standard iPhone 17 looks very similar to the iPhone 16, with a vertical camera array in the top left corner and a centered Apple logo. Apple is expected to keep the pricing for that phone at the same $799, while the other models get possibly large price hikes. Apple will unveil the iPhone 17 lineup at its Awe Dropping event on Tuesday at 10 a.m. PT.
