Recreate the classic iMac G3 era with this cute Apple Watch charger

If Liquid Glass has you missing the days of cheeky translucent Apple designs and you suddenly find the 24-inch iMac a little too understated, we’ve got great news. The accessories firm Spigen has launched a new Apple Watch charging stand that takes its inspiration from the iMac G3, and it’s cute as heck.

The Apple Watch Classic C1 Charger Stand is essentially a shrunken-down version of the iMac from 1998, only with the “display” replaced by a circular hole for a charging puck. Simply thread the wire through the hole and feed it out the back, then press the puck into place. (Note that the puck cable and power adapter aren’t included, you’ll need to supply those yourself.)

Spigen says the device’s slanted front (which is angled at 65 degrees from the horizontal) makes for easy viewing when your Apple Watch is charging. This is an important factor to consider thanks to Nightstand mode.

Like the iMac G3, the C1 is a mixture of opaque white and translucent color elements, with Tangerine, Graphite, Bondi Blue, and Ruby options available. Older readers will of course recall that across multiple generations the iMac G3 came in 13 different colors (deep breath: Bondi Blue, Blueberry, Grape, Tangerine, Lime, Strawberry, Graphite, Indigo, Ruby, Sage, Snow, Blue Dalmation, and Flower Power), but we’re partial to the classic Tangerine or the iconic original Bondi Blue.
