Apple updates Sports app with new MLS and MLB features

Apple Sports — an iPhone app that offers fans access to real-time scores, stats, and more — is now available to download in the App Store.
The Apple Sports app for iPhone received an update today bringing exciting features for fans of Major League Soccer and Major League Baseball.
The update, bringing the app to version 1.5, allows users to follow every match of the Leagues Cup, a tournament featuring clubs from MLS and Liga MX. This means you can stay on top of the action as both leagues battle it out for the championship.
Baseball fans will also appreciate an addition to MLB box scores. The update now includes a handy indicator showcasing pitcher wins, losses, and saves. This makes it even easier to see how pitchers are performing at a glance.
Originally released in February, the Apple Sports app has become a one-stop shop for sports fans. It provides scores, schedules, and stats for a wide range of leagues, including NBA, NHL, MLB, MLS, and the Premier League. On top of that, you can also get real-time play-by-play updates to stay glued to the action throughout the game.
