Get a rare look at Apple’s most iconic moments as the Mac turns 40

The Mac celebrates its 40th anniversary in January and to commemorate the event, the Computer History Museum is having an exhibit called, “Apple Mac at 40.” Featuring artifacts and memorabilia from the launch of the Mac, the exhibit runs from December 15 to February 25. The exhibit includes several hardware samples, documentation, brand artifacts, fan creations, and more. The CHM’s website showcasing the Apple Mac at 40 exhibit has samples of what will be on display, which includes: An original Macintosh with keyboard and mouse A wire-wrapped Mac prototype motherboard Business cards of the Mac team, including one from “Software Wizard” Andy Hertzfeld Susan Kare’s pirate flag that hung in the Apple offices The costume worn by Anya Major in the “1984” Apple commercial that aired during Super Bowl XVIII Tickets for the Apple Mac at 40 exhibit are on sale on the CHM website. Tickets for adults 18 and older are $19.50; seniors (65 or older), students (11 years or older with a student ID), military members, and educators can get tickets for $15. Tickets for children 8 to 10 years old are $6.50, and children under 8 are free. The CHM is located at 1401 N. Shoreline Blvd., in Mountain View, California.
