Apple releases macOS 10.14.4 Mojave update

Amid Monday’s announcement and software update-o-rama, Apple released macOS 10.14.4 Mojave, the long-awaited update to its Mac operating system.

The new version, which weighs in around a 2.5 gigabyte update, offers the following fixes and changes:

Full access to Apple’s newly-launched News+ serviceIncorporates Safari Autofill for MacBooks with Touch IDAutomatic Dark Mode viewing in Safari for compatible websitesPush Notification managementSafari warnings for insecure websitesSupport for second-gen AirPodsAir quality index reading for maps in the U.S., UK, and IndiaReal-time text for phone calls made through a nearby iPhone USB audio device reliability improvements Unspecified performance improvements, security enhancements and bug fixes. 

Apple’s macOS 10.14.4 Mojave is available for download through the Mac App Store’s Software Update mechanism.
