Some users cite Wi-Fi issues following iOS 12.1.3 release

Tuesday January 29, 2019. 12:00 PM , from Power Page
This is turning into a fairly significant mess.
Following the release of iOS 12.1.3, a number of users cited difficulty in accessing their cellular data, a bug which had also happened following the rollout of iOS 12.1.2.
The situation was so bad, wireless provider Sprint put out a warning. This had emerged after iOS 12.1.1 caused 4G issues. Now, it seems, the latest version of the operating system is also causing Wi-Fi issues for some users.

The issue has been followed by Forbes, which ticked off its shortcomings:
Apple’s pledge with iOS 12 was to focus on performance and reliability. It actually fulfilled its promise on speed, which makes iOS 12 a very appealing upgrade, but its failure with reliability is twofold. Not only are major bugs still occurring, what’s worse (since bugs are inevitable), is they not being fixed as a priority from release to release.
In short, please be careful prior to upgrading your version of iOS 12 and if you’re using a version that works for you, you might want to keep using it until Apple sorts these bugs out.
Please let us know if you’ve experienced these issues on your end and we’ll have additional details as they become available.
