Apple begins selling discontinued iPhone SE units via Refurbished section of its web site
Monday January 21, 2019. 12:15 PM , from Power Page
The iPhone SE you loved is now on sale, even if the price has been bottomed out to seemingly liquidate the remaining stock of the discontinued handset in the Refurbished section of its online storefront.
Customers can snag a brand new, unopened iPhone SE for only $249 with 32GB or 128GB for $299. handsets come fully unlocked sporting the same specs as when it was introduced in 2016. The iPhone SE features the A9 Apple processor, Touch ID, and the four-inch form factor. As such, the sale prices are roughly $100 and $150 off compared to Apple’s prices before the phone was removed from sale. As present, Apple is only selling iPhones with displays larger than 4.7″. This has brought out some criticism from people who loved the smaller handset. Grab one while you can, as supplies are limited. It isn’t clear how long the iPhone SE will remain supported by iOS. The A9 processor first shipped with the iPhone 6S in September 2015. Stay tuned for additional details as they become available. Via AppleInsider, Apple, and MacRumors
