How Do I Remove External Networks From My Network List?

Has anyone ever found a way to get rid of all those external, neighbors’, wi-fi networks from the network list in the drop down menu? Every now & then, my wi-if will grab a neighbor’s wi-fi instead of my own. There’s at least 20 in that stupid list & only 1 is open.
