After occupants trapped in crashes, Tesla drivers buying special tools to open doors
A Bloomberg News report found that at least 15 people have died in Teslas when their doors failed to open after crashes. The doors are electrically controlled, reportedly at the insistence of CEO Elon Musk, leaving panicking occupants to cook, drown or bleed out when the circuits are disabled by fire, water or otherwise damaged. — Read the rest
