Vox recently surmised that, in the wake of Congress slashing over $500 million dollars of funding (and some estimates put that number even higher, at $1.1 billion) from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, a new player is poised to swoop in and fill the role of providing news and educational content for children, youth, and young adults, now that local PBS and NPR stations might be forced to shut down. — Read the rest
