I absolutely adore the wonderful hand creations of Italian conceptual artist Mario Mariotti, who is best known for creating whimsical human and animal creatures using only his hands, paint, googly eyes, inventive hand and finger poses, and simple prompts. He created a series of books in the 1980s and early 1990s featuring his hand creations — he called the human-like ones 'Humands' and the animal-like ones 'Hanimals' — beautifully photographed by Roberto Marchiori. — Read the rest
