Google begins "purge" of effective ad-blockers from Chrome

Manifest V3 is the new extensions framework for Google's Chrome browser, and one notable outcome is that ad blockers can't block so many ads. After years of delay, Google is reportedly 'purging' such extensions and accelerating the framework's rollout.

According to recent user reports, uBlock Origin is quickly disappearing from the Chrome Web Store.
