The iconic Horsehead Nebula, a cosmic cloud 1,300 light-years from Earth has been captured so well by NASA's powerful James Webb Space Telescope that it doesn't look as much like a horse head as it did in earlier photos.
In a stunning new view, Webb's Near-Infrared Camera (NIRCam) reveals the sharpest infrared image yet of this celestial wonder, 'showing a part of the iconic nebula in a whole new light, and capturing its complexity with unprecedented spatial resolution.' — Read the rest
