It's 1943, writer Peter Kien and composer Viktor Ullmann were rehearsing their opera, Der Kaiser von Atlantis. They had created this work while imprisoned in the Terezín concentration camp in Czechoslovakia. Terezín was somewhat unique among concentration camps.
