Wednesday June 2, 2021. 12:54 PM , from The Inquirer
Prime Day – Day 2: The second and final day of Amazon Prime Day 2021 is rounding out to a close, but there’s still time to swipe a deal if you’re missed out thus far.

It’s been quite the event, hasn’t it? Amazon’s massive 48-hour sale certainly hasn’t disappointed, as we’ve seen deals across all major tech products and from huge brands such as Apple, OnePlus, Fitbit, Razer and more. While a lot of these offers have come and gone (some in the blink of an eye), there are still some that have remained steadfast through it all and you can find them in our roundup below.

As always, these deals are exclusive to anyone with an active Amazon Prime membership, but you can always sign up for a 30-day free trial to get in on the fun. Just make sure to cancel before the 30 days are up to avoid being charged for the following month. Otherwise, let’s take a gander at all the cracking deals you can still pick up in the remaining few hours of Prime Day 2021.

What’s Prime Day without a few juicy discounts on the latest handsets? Sure, there’s the obligatory discount on the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini, but if you’re staying firm in camp Android then there’s plenty to keep you satisfied, including one particular bargain via OnePlus.

Best TV Deals

Euro 2020 might already be underway, but there’s still time to make the most of it with a brand new TV that’ll bring the big matches right into your living room. Regardless of the budget you have to play with, there are TV deals across the spectrum.

Deal: Panasonic TX-58HX800 for £629 (down from £899)Deal: JVC Fire TV 55” Smart 4K Set for just £499 (was £649.99)Deal: Samsung 2021 43″ AU7110 Crystal UHD 4K TV for just £399 (was £499)

Trusted Take

There’s been a wide range of deals on TVs both premium and affordable, and a decent amount of brand new models appearing in the sale as well. Some of the older LG models are worth a punt if you’re looking for a more affordable gaming TV to partner your PS5 or Xbox Series X. With cheaper Hisense, Panasonic and Samsung TVs in the mix, if you’re not bothered with fancier features then there are some satisfying-looking mid-range options. Alternatively, if you’ve been looking for a premium TV then there are a few deals with big discounts, the size of which you may not see again until later in 2021.

Best Laptop Deals

If one thing is clear so far it’s that Amazon is leaning heavily into laptop deals for this year’s Prime Day. We’ve seen some absurd price drops on day to day laptops from Samsung and even gaming powerhouses from Razer, making this a great time to upgrade or replace your old laptop.

Deal: Surface Laptop Go for just £579 (was £699)Deal: Surface Pro 7 12.3″ Windows Tablet for just £649 (was £899)Deal: Surface Laptop 3 i5, 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD for £759 (was £999)

Trusted Take

I’m surprised by how many cracking laptop deals there have been for Prime Day this year, with some superb portables from the likes of Asus, Microsoft and Samsung seeing major price cuts. If you’re a student looking to buy a new laptop for university studies come September, or a home worker who finally wants to upgrade their system, then this is the best time to make the splash.

Best Wearable Deals:

Even though we’re halfway through the year, the summer months are the best time to pick back up on those New Year’s resolutions and keep better tabs on your health. To that end, a proper smartwatch or fitness tracker can be a huge help in letting you meet your fitness goals.

Deal: Fitbit Inspire 2 for just £61.49 (was £89.99)Deal: Fitbit Versa 3 for just £168.29 (was £199.99)Deal: Fitbit Sense with an extra strap for just £239 (was £329.98)

Trusted Take

While Prime Day 2021 hasn’t had too many offers in the way of smartwatches, it has been phenomenal where fitness trackers are concerned – particularly from Fitbit. All three wearables in Fitbit’s most recent product refresh, the Fitbit Sense, Fitbit Versa 3 and Fitbit Inspire 2 have seen massive reductions for the Prime Day sale. Given that the best of the summer months are right around the corner, this has been a great opportunity to nab a fitness tracker and make the most of that better weather for running and cycling.

Best Audio Deals:

Whether you need a decent pair of headphones for working from home or fancy a cheeky portable speaker to bring with you to the park, these are the best Prime Day audio deals that you need to be aware of.

Deal: Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus for just £59.99 (was £159)Deal: Bose Portable Smart Speaker for just £224.99 (was £329.95)Deal: Sony WF-1000XM3 for just £129.99 (was £220)Deal: Sony WH-1000XM3 ANC Headphones for just £197.99 (was £330)Deal: LG FN7 earbuds with ANC for just £99.99 (was £179.99)

Best Gaming Deals

As much as I love gaming, I’ll admit that it’s rarely an inexpensive hobby. For that reason, I can easily recommend jumping on a discount whenever one does appear, and Prime Day just happens to be one of the best times for it. While there are no deals for the PS5 or Xbox Series X (that’s just wishful thinking at present), there are still some great offers for the Nintendo Switch, Oculus Quest and more.

Deal: Nintendo Swich Lite Blue for just £179.99 (first ever discount)Deal: PS5 DualSense Controller and Charging Station for just £64.99 (was £85.13)Deal: PS5 Controller + Spider-Man: Miles Morales for just £79.99 (was £112.13)Deal: Nintendo Switch with Just Dance 2021 for only £284.99 (was £349.98)Deal: Oculus Quest 2 64GB for just £279.99 (was £299.99)

What is Amazon Prime Day?

If you’re new to the party and all of this ‘Prime Day’ stuff seems a tad overwhelming, fear not – here’s a break down of what you need to know. Prime Day is a yearly sale that happens exclusively on Amazon’s website. As the name implies, you need to be an Amazon Prime member to access the deals that appear during Prime Day, but you can always avoid any additional costs by signing up for the 30-day free trial of Amazon Prime and then cancelling the membership before you’re charged.

Even though the official Prime Day sale is exclusive to Amazon, other retailers haven’t decided to simply sit this one out without a fight. Major retailers like Currys PC Word and Argos also have some incredibly competitive offers – just the thing if you don’t have an Amazon Prime subscription.

What is the Prime Day return policy?

Luckily for consumers, Amazon’s return policy remains the same even during Prime Day, giving you a full 30-days from the receipt of your order to send it straight back. There are some exception to the rule – just click here to see the full list of non-returnable Amazon items.

Be sure to keep this page bookmarked to stay up to date with Amazon Prime Day deals!
