Microsoft floats the concept of a dedicated Office key in a closed survey

Microsoft has floated the idea of an “Office key” on PC keyboards. Such a move would go beyond controlling the operating system to encouraging use of the company’s Office applications, which typically require a subscription. Twitter user WalkingCat spotted a restricted survey that asks users if they’ve tried out new Office keyboards running the May 2019 Update. A second question asks users if they’ve tried out specific Office shortcuts, including the “Office key” plus O, T, W, X, P, D, N,Y, and L.
