The time to binge is upon us once more: Future Man season 2 is now out

Future Man season two trailer.
With the excellent Travelers season 3 now behind us, it's time for something a little lighter. OK, the future of the world is still at stake, and the solution to the planet's impending doom is, once again, time travel, but the world of Future Man is a whole lot funnier, dirtier, and more ridiculous than that of Travelers. Season two was released in its entirety exclusively on Hulu in the small hours of this morning, so y'all should cancel whatever it was you were going to do this weekend and watch that instead. Season one introduced us to Josh 'Future Man' Futterman (Josh Hutcherson of The Hunger Games), a video-game playing loser from the present day, and Tiger (Eliza Coupe) and Wolf (Derek Wilson), two soldiers sent back in time from the future. The Earth of the future is ravaged by a war between humans and the genetically superior biotics, an apparently mutant race that arose due to a cure for herpes developed by Josh's boss. At the culmination of season one, Tiger, Wolf, and Future Man have prevented the development of the cure and hence averted that particular future....... but needless to say, the future still turns out to be a catastrophe. Season two sees our heroes learn about a future very different from the one they left behind, and their efforts must once again be focused on setting humanity on a less messed-up path. There's a gloriously incoherent trailer, above, to introduce it all. Read 1 remaining paragraphs | Comments
