Valve's Steam Link app for Raspberry Pi lets you build your own PC game-streaming box

The Steam Link is dead, and that sucks, but now we have the technology to resuscitate it. On Monday, Valve’s Sam Lantinga announced that the Steam Link app is now available in beta form on the Raspberry Pi 3 and Raspberry Pi 3 B+.To install the app, make sure you’re running the “Stretch” version of the Pi’s Raspbian operating system—it’s been the default since August 2017—and input the following from a command line.
