In my late teens, I went deep down the rabbit hole of 'Canterbury bands' (and Canterbury-adjacent). Bands like Soft Machine, Wilde Flowers, Caravan, Hatfield and the North, National Health, Matching Mole, Egg, Henry Cow, and Gong.
