16 channel expander for API 1608

Hi,

I'm writing this message to present my new work: it's a 16 channels micro expander for Api1608 that fits in a 6U rack.

It is a very compact channel expander without some of the feature of a regular channel as in a 1608.

It has no Preamp, no subgroup assignment and no insert.

It has a balanced line in equipped with INA134.

There is a potentiometer in place of the fader, that can be switched off if external linear faders are preferred.

8 auxes ( 4 mono an 2 stereo with pan), but there are no on/off switches and there is only one aux pre switch for all the auxes.

There is one panpot and a fader trim for calibration of the fader.

There is a solo safe switch, a mute group switch and solo and mute buttons exactly as in the API 1608 console, and all the logic system works together with the console.

The direct output is based upon That's 1646 chip.

There are no transformers in the channel for obvious reason of space.

The power supply is based on off the shelf SMPS power supply from Mean Well and Traco.

The expander cable is handmade by me with Klotz cable.
