TAL Software drops TAL-Drum percussion sampler
Saturday April 16, 2022. 01:34 AM , from MacOSX Audio
TAL Software has released TAL-Drum, an easy-to-use sampler for drums, short samples, and loops inspired by the 80s drum samplers with a modern workflow. The user interface offers a 16 and 32 customized pad view, and every pad can have up to four mappings. Cycle and random round-robin modes are available. It’s also possible to set velocity ranges for the mappings or just layer them. Built-in Lo-Fi effects let you change the way the plugin resamples. Slice samples and apply the slices to pads with a few mouse clicks. Different time-stretch algorithms, including a vintage Ak4I cycle time stretcher, are available in TAL-Drum. You can even Direct Record samples from main or sidechain stereo input channels and truncate and normalize directly in the plugin.
TAL-Drum is available now for $60, with an intro price of $48 for a limited time. It requires macOS 10.9 or later and an AU, VST, or AAX plugin host. TAL-Drum is a Universal Binary 2 with native Apple M1 support. https://tal-software.com/products/tal-drumThe post TAL Software drops TAL-Drum percussion sampler first appeared on macOS Audio.
