Softube announces Celestion partnership and plug-in

Say “goodbye” to IR loaders and “hello” to control. Celestion, makers of world-renowned guitar and bass speakers, is the latest partner of pro audio pioneer Softube. Over its 100-year history, Celestion has become the name in speakers, with its great-sounding goods gracing pro audio gear from Marshall to Vox. Now, the legendary sound of Celestion is available in an inspiring and easy-to-use plug-in from Softube: Celestion Speaker Shaper.

Celestion Speaker Shaper features two parallel cabinets where genuine Celestion speakers can be loaded and independently calibrated using a wide array of parameters—from size and age to mics, magnet type, ohms, and more. Available as a native plug-in and for Amp Room, Softube’s pro audio guitar and bass platform, Celestion Speaker Shaper is the modern way to shape speaker tones for guitar, bass, and more.

What’s new for Amp Room?

Softube Amp Room has some new additions. Four Softube plug-ins now feature modules for Softube’s pro audio guitar and bass platform. Saturation Knob, a Softube Originals plug-in, is now Amp Room-ready with three distortion types to fatten drums and bass and add harmonics to vocals. With Fix Flanger and Doubler for Amp Room, platform users can get the classic sound of flanging, as well as lush choruses and rich textures for vocals. Fix Phaser, meanwhile, offers lush vintage phasing in a modern Amp Room module.
