macOS Apple Silicon with Rosetta 2

Since Apple's Big Sur operating system was released in November, we have been conducting compatibility tests on Mac computers utilizing Intel processor architecture and have kept you posted on the progress by updating the relevant Knowledge Base article. This initial testing phase is gradually transiting to the next step: compatibility tests of our products with Mac computers with Apple silicon under Rosetta 2. While Dorico 3.5 is now officially running under Rosetta 2 due to its latest 3.5.12 update, other software and hardware products have yet to undergo thorough tests before we can issue further recommendations for Rosetta 2. Further details will be published as tests progress. Only after testing under Rosetta 2 has been completed will we focus on compatibility tests of Steinberg products running natively on Mac computers with Apple silicon.
