Roland Cloud update - internet connection no longer required (sort of)

Friday October 13, 2017. 04:48 AM , from Gearslutz
Roland Cloud has released an update to all
their virtual instruments. A constant internet
connection is no longer necessary to use the
instruments. Now u only have to log in
and re-authorize once a week, meaning that
you can use the instruments offline for the
other six days.

There are also various other improvements
including Midi learn for Aira and Legendary
synthesizers, consistent GUI re-sizing, an
improvement in CPU efficiency for Windows
users, and some DAW-specific issue fixes.

I am not an employee of Roland, nor am I
a paid programmer for them. Not posting this
to start another pointless “discussion” about
the merits/evils of subscriptions or arguments
about why Roland wont let users buy their
virtual synths outright. If anyone wants to
revisit those topics, please can you post
in the “Moan Zone”.

This is merely information for those who
have a subscription to Roland Cloud or are
interested in one.
