Waves have entered the loudness metering battle with their WLM plug-in

Waves have announced the release of a new plug-in the Waves Loudness Meter or WLM which will be available separately or included in the Mercury bundle.

ITU, EBU and ATSC compliant Foreground, dialog, and average loudness measurements Momentary, Short Term, Long Term, and True Peak readouts Intelligent dialog sensor detects and measures speech Mono, stereo, and 5.1 components The price makes it reasonably competitive in that the regular price is $400 and the introductory price is $299 Looking at the specs and screenshot, I do like the easy way you can set it to the different standards with dedicated buttons for EBU, LM1 etc but although they have logging options with csv export the display doesn’t offer any history options like the TC Electronic LM5 and LM6 as well as the Nugen Audio VisLM-h
