Wednesday December 29, 2021. 08:48 PM , from TheMacObserver
In Apple’s latest iPhone user guide it tells people that iPhone 12 Pro and later can measure someone’s height using the LiDAR sensor.
Measure Height With iPhone 13 Pro
Using Apple’s built-in Measure app, the LiDAR sensor on iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max allow for greater precision when measuring things with the camera.

Make sure the person’s entire body is within your screen.
You’ll see a line appearing at the top of their head.
Tap the shutter button to take their picture.
Tap the image in the lower-left corner to save the photo, then tap Done. Save it to Photos or Files.

If you want to re-measure the person, just point the iPhone away before pointing it back at them.
