Steve ‘Woz’ Wozniak to be conference headliner at DevOps World

Thursday July 22, 2021. 01:43 PM , from Mac Minute
CloudBees, an enterprise software delivery company and organizing sponsor of DevOps World, has announced Steve “Woz” Wozniak, co-founder of Apple, as the conference headliner.
In its 10th year and expected to draw more than 35,000 registrations, DevOps World is an industry conference “dedicated to bringing the software development community together to learn, network and explore the future of software delivery.” DevOps World will be held (virtually) Sept. 28-30. And it’s free.
The conference features more than 100 sessions covering DevOps topics. Sessions will be conducted by 130 speakers and cover topics such as security, DevSecOps, compliance, diversity, inclusion and belonging, building your career, progressive delivery, automation, value stream management, Kubernetes, cloud, GitOps, open source and Jenkins, measurement and ROI and more.
The conference is debuting two new tracks – financial services and public sector – to focus on the challenges and requirements of these industry segments and personnel. A number of enterprises and government agencies will share their DevOps best practices, including HSBC, Fidelity, Capital One, U.S. Air Force, Internal Revenue Service and more.
The leadership track continues this year, with sessions tailored for executives who are leading DevOps and transformation initiatives. Community tracks and those led by the Continuous Delivery Foundation will also take center stage.
