White screen when running Xcode preview

I am test running my app from going to product –> run, of which I am only getting a white screen, (I have let it load for the past 15 minutes to ensure it is a white screen and is not just loading). What do I do from here?
(I can see there is a storyboard entry point there, and also it is ticked as initial view controller.
