How Do I Drag and Drop Bookmarks In Between Tabs for Usage?

Sunday January 24, 2021. 02:49 AM , from MacMost
Does anyone know if you can drag and drop Safari favorites into the current tabs to open it there? instead of right clicking open new tab and it just goes left to right in order?
I use Chrome and I can drag and drop the bookmarks in between existing tabs I have open, instead of having to right click them every time to add to an existing window i have up
When using Safari, I would like to be able to drag and drop a bookmark from the favorites bar, in between existing tabs, or on top of a current tab. I can do the latter, but not the former. When I try to drag and drop, the bookmark either gets deleted into a litte cloud, or will only allow to replace an existing tab.
I want to do this with Safari like I do on chrome, so I can customize the way I start new tabs, instead of them only right-click in which it opens up going left to right in order.
Device: Mac Running Big Sur
App: Safari
